Is time travel possible? The reason I don't think so at this time is that time to me equals the set of all nows. Two nows can not exist at the same time. I know, I know, the research about the plane flying and the atomic clock change yes. But that is just relative...uh um maybe. I have no clue really. Fun to think about though.
The universe expanding leads us to conclude that there was a big bang with lots of energy released and all the universe is expanding leaving all planets, stars, galaxies, rocks etc.. farther and farther apart. This is evolving in real time like everything else. Does time exist or does our minds just need that to comprehend because we have a limited life time? As we get older the years seem shorter. Maybe that is just because relative to our lifetime and experience the passing of time is less of a surprise. I remember when I was in elementary school the years seemed like an eternity. Now it seems like Christmas comes couple months.
And I wonder about relativity, eternity and the concept of infinitely small. Is there a limit to how small something is? We once thought it all came down to a nucleus in the center of an atom, now quantum psychics has found more and smaller particles than electrons, protons and neutrons. hmmmm if there is unlimited space is there also infinite small?
I am not high just curious. Maybe when we leave these bodies we will know and slap ourselves on the forehead and say duh!
