Man i got upset while out today , I went to a thrift store with mom's and we saw a Snapper commercial Lawnmower 3 speeds with rear wheel drive a plug for the bag hole for $25.00 and she would,nt let me buy it , she thinks it might be junk or get her van dirty , but heck even if it did,nt run right , those mowers cost $600.00+ dollars and you could get more than a Hundred bucks in parts . this caused an argument . I had the $25.00 but oh well i had to pass it up . I mean girls will buy useless scarves and stuff , when it's a guy thing -Guys like hands on stuff Like computers , Ham or cb radios and Snapper lawnmowers -not buying it made my stomach Hurt. QC

The Forum is Looking Great Guys , We are making over 2265 Views per Day . Thats a Good Start . I been busy so i,m in & out . Would,nt cha Think ? Anyway i Got a buddy says he is going to do some free advertising to bring us back up to $22.00 a day , i,m still looking for a Sports Writer , the Cards won Today by the Way . This Site The Quaalude Board is a Good Start if you are Looking for Free Advertising Just post a new thread in the members area like others have , be sure to mention The Quaalude Board on Your Site or someplace , Just as a Favor , nobody Checks but if you have an ad Here it can only help everyone that comes Here . I wanted you guys to know i have other writers for some of the other threads Here . But We Can always use you if you like to Write , Blog , or Just Post your Feelings or an Ad.

Too much stuff to do so little time , you got your web page , your forum members , your email , your friends problems , sometimes i just like siting back and formating hard drives , it feels good to know i have this drive thats ready for any os as soon as you plug it in , you can decide if you want an NTFS partition or just leave it as a Fat 16 or 32 dos drive , Then you can spend half a day getting it all updated , toss it in a pile and either use it or sell it .

I have yet to install a Linux system yet but i have about 30 distros of it . They all differ . I have over 100 hard drives formated & 6 more i picked up today , first i boot them to see what data is on them , then unless they have a solid copy of a good os , i low level format them , then i create a Dos partition , then i format that partition to dos and they are ready for any os . I derive pleasure from this , and i sit and listen to am radio or npr or the BBC . True signs i am becoming an old man . I Think Fat Girls seam to Like me , I like them too

If i had my own pad i would start using all this Hi Tech *equickment *
I Like to collect , my Ram collection is like 90 Lb's but ya gota love it , ya gota have hobbies ya Know.

I see Effort , Effort in the way people who work this Forum strive to make it work and for that i am proud , i see all the views a thread gets and when i see little action on the posters part i get a bit disscuraged but you guys keep at it and i admire you for it , the thing is we all seem to try , some threads are only meant to be read , no need to respond they are there as humor or adds.
I see a time in the near future where there will be more than 20 regular posters , What is it that makes people want to post ?
I look back on threads that got lots of posters and i try to understand just what that drive is , it may have been a current topic or one that stands the test of time . i think how can i duplicate this .
All in all i see Effort - as we start the real Summer lets try to do the best we can - i think that is the least we can do to entertain and captivate the readers . We want to see new posters , fun people who bring a stand up act to the boards the funny person , the downer person , the one you love to hate , or the one that turns you on . for over a year i been sitting here posting , sometimes it feels like when Forest Gump took off running . i remember at the end he said i think i,ll go home now . Anyway thanks to all the regulars , i remember my buddy Kramer said when i left one of his parties i,ll see the same 8 of you next year . He He QC

Well we are Ad Free For July for 150,000 page Views i do not think we get that many Maybe I Have have pushed the wrong button , Maybe Not. So i,m Going To Drive Traffic {*Here*} I Guess , Remember We Do Not Make Any Money From The Quaalude Board . But What We Do Want is a Community of Active Posters. People are not social as much as they once was it seems , this is an important part of being human .

Back 10 or so years ago * in the Day* , we talked to each other more it seems , The forum letter we sent out about non posters was standard ,

i can tell you, no accounts will be deleted from TQB ever by myself and are set so that i am the only site member besides yourself who can deleted them .

We know a lot of you are not used to Forums and it may take some time for you to even want to post .

Can you beleve That i was just at Proboards Support and i,m registered there by my name Quaalude and they told me to change it . Why would i want to change my name i,m on over 46 proboards as Quaalude , thats my name and the name of This Forum . QC

Yeah Even MS XP Pro is not ready for the internet right out of the box . You need to take the internet explorer to MS Update for the latest installer software , then update your Adaware Spyware Remover and at Least get Flash From Adobie for Firefox , Then you are Ready to Surf The Net . after i update Windows via IE , I Switch to Browsing the Net with Firefox .I don't know How many Times i See People buy a computer and they mess it up in a few weeks buy thinking it's internet Ready out of the box .

People don't realise alot of things and fear what they do not understand and they tend to Attack it Rather than try to Understand it,

Case in Point i,m sick with a bad liver on Disability and do computers part time when i can . I don't drive never have and i,m 40. i live in my relatives home people close to 60 years old and pay more than a third of the bills and do what chores i can .

i have certen times i can show the computers between 4 pm and 10:30 pm

If i put up an ad on Craigslist & Try to sell computers from the situation i,m in i have to word things like if you contact me by phone or email leave contact info as to not play phone tag , remember i do not drive , if i,m going to go someplace i rely on others , i need to know times and dates . another thing i,m sick & have Old People Sleeping and one Works 3rd Shift 10pm till 7:00 am so that person has to sleep till 9:00 pm while We tip toe around i crash out at 7:00 am .

So i get an Email once

That Hurts my Feelings , i,m spending 30 Hours of my Time Making Sure Just One of 300 Computers Works and is Benchmarked . QC

The Doctor wants me in for more tests my Cholesterol & Blood Sugar was Real High 400 & 50 is normal , i,m not sure what all that means . but they are going to let me know. Well We Have Another Admin Jade , Jade will be working on Yet Another Skin . i hope to get back some services i liked , Extra UBBC & Smilies in Quick Reply , Image Shack Up Loader & ability to Create polls again . my right arm is still curling up like a Stroke victim but Xrays show i had no stroke . So i don't know whats up , Big 40 in one week , by then our Ad Free Should be running out , i bought another 50.000 page views . Around that time & maybe before we should have a new Skin . Thanks Again to the posters of TQB and Lurking Members , you'll post when your ready .
