WWE.com has posted an updated article about the supplemental draft that will take place at noon ET tomorrow afternoon. The article states the draft will last for four hours. Either a lot of superstars will be switching brands, or they are just trying to draw as much traffic as possible.
Jim Ross & Dr. Tom Prichard have both commented on the passing of "Sensational" Sherri on WWE.com.
European wrestler Chris Gray (Chris Chaos) has signed a WWE developmental deal.
- Drew Galloway and Seamus O'Shaunessy, also European wrestlers, have been assigned to WWE's new developmental territory in Tampa, FL.
- The meeting Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter on 6/6 regarding television was at the Fox Executive Offices in Los Angeles. No details as to which of the many different Fox stations, which also includes MyNetwork TV, they were in talks with.
- MVP vs. Ric Flair for the WWE United States title will go down at the WWE Vengeance PPV on 6/25.
- Eric Bischoff was asked to take part in the Vince McMahon Appreciation on Raw, but turned it down claiming it conflicted with major business meetings.
- Others considered for the McMahon Appreciation night included Paul Heyman (shot down by Stephanie) and Verne Gagne (shot down by Kevin Dunn).
- WWE approached Len Davies of Real Quality Wrestling about establishing a developmental program in Europe. Davies is a promoter based in London, and has his own production and media company. Real Quality Wrestling is currently doing television once a month for a show on the Wrestling Channel. Davies was flown to Wrestlemania 23 for further discussions. WWE is expected to make a decision one way or another by July.
Yesterday, Mick Foley attended the commencement ceremonies for the Hungerford School in Staten Island, New York. The school specializes in special needs children.
This Friday Ken Kennedy and WWE Intercontinental champion Santino Marella are scheduled to appear at Ohio Valley Wrestling event at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. Reports suggest that Kennedy won’t be wrestling. Finlay, The Hardys, CM Punk, Jerry Lawler and John Cena, are also scheduled to appear at OVW's Super Summer Sizzler over the course of the summer.
The latest on the Mr. McMahon “death” and the limo explosion storyline is that a "calculated blast" destroyed the limo last Monday.
THE UNDERTAKER has been busy recovering from surgery to repair his torn biceps. In todays The Coloradoan said that The Undertaker and a partner have begun buying $2.7 million dollars in real estate to plan and build an upscale office building.
The article said that The Undertaker is preparing for a post-wrestling life with the venture. The Undertaker told the newspaper "(Real estate) is a new adventure for me". "I've done wrestling for 20 years; I know most of the answers."
The article also noted that The Undertaker isn’t expected to be back from his surgery for five months. So it look’s like we will see The Undertaker making a return around October.
Due to the timing of the death of Sherri Martel officials within WWE were highly considering dropping the Vince McMahon death angle quickly as possible citing the taste and timing, and another school of thought (that most expect would win out) to keep going.
