The following matches took place before tonight's live WWE RAW TV taping:
Dark Match:

Heat:

WWE announced on WWE RAW that next Monday, RAW will start at a special time of 8pm EST. All superstars from RAW, SmackDown and ECW will be required to attend.
The broadcast will be a special 3-hour special as "Federal Investigators" are set to question WWE superstars on the death of Mr. McMahon.
- Yesterday in the New York Post, they featured an article on WWE Diva Lauren Jones. In the article, it mentions that she will be staring in “Anchorwoman” that will be a comedy/reality hybrid that will premiere on August 21st.
The article then goes on to say that she is in her second week of filming and she is contracted to work for the station for only a month, while the reality show is being filmed.
- They are running local television advertisements on Sky Sports 1 stating that this Friday on Smackdown the main event will feature Batista & Rick Flair vs. Edge & MVP.
REASON FOR NOT NIXING THE VINCE DEATH ANGLE.
- When Sherri Martel passed on Friday, a number of those in the company were embarrassed by how far down coverage of her death was placed on WWE.com, under all the fake reports of Vince's "death."
There have been talks internally of ending the angle but the feeling now is that Vince is still behind it so it will continue the way it is now, still keeping up with the "whodunit" storyline and being the main focus of WWE programming.
